Chain-drive air-cooled 750 four, the slim, compact sport roadster of Yamaha's early 1980s XJ line. Placing the generator behind the cylinders kept the engine unusually narrow. It had air-assisted anti-dive forks and twin front discs, and is described as easy to control.
